FAQS
Does Microblading Hurt?
An anesthetic gel is used for numbing after opening the skin and during your procedure. The amount can be adjusted depending on your pain tolerance as we want you to be comfortable during the entire treatment process. Make sure you do not consume caffeine before your treatment, this is because the caffeine prevents the numbing cream from absorbing properly into the skin. Usually, clients say it feels like tiny scratches, or that it feels like I am just tweezing a few hairs at a time.
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup method. It uses a technique that uses natural feather hair-like strokes on the surface of your skin to create a more natural-looking eyebrow.
What is Shading?
Shading is similar to microblading and is meant to complement it. Shading helps create a background area to fill in, allowing your eyebrow to look full and complete.
How Long Does it Last?
The longevity of the treatment depends on your skin type and care. The pigment will start to slowly fade over 6-12 months. However, for the best results ongoing, getting a refresher every 7-12 months is recommended.
Successful Treatments can depend on:
- Exposure to External Influences
- Post-Treatment Care
- Skin Quality
What If I Have Old Permanent Makeup?
If you have previously had your eyebrows tattooed, you must take a clear picture in good lighting and send it to our team before any treatment can be booked. This is because in some situations prior work has been too dark, dense, discolored, or large. We suggest tattoo removal before any appointment can be made. This is because we cannot guarantee results for cases with previous work on them. These areas almost always require additional sessions, which will be charged accordingly. Contact our team for further information if you have old permanent makeup.

Can you explain what permanent eyeliner is and how it's applied?
Permanent eyeliner, also called an eyeliner tattoo, is a form of PMU (permanent makeup) treatment that utilizes a specialized tattoo machine to implant pigment on the lash line. This technique is used to replicate the appearance of eyeliner and can be applied in various styles, such as larger wings, light lash enhancements, or smoky looks in a range of colors.
What are the benefits of getting permanent eyeliner and why should someone consider it?
Permanent eyeliner offers several benefits, including enhancing the eyes without the need for traditional liquid liners or pencils, resulting in a striking look. Additionally, the treatment can help improve the appearance of light-colored or missing lashes. Furthermore, it can save individuals money on eyeliner products in the long run.
What is the typical lifespan of permanent eyeliner, and how often should you get a color boost?
Although the name implies permanence, permanent eyeliner typically lasts for 3-5 years on average. However, to maintain a fresh appearance, it’s recommended to have a color boost every 18 months, as with all PMU.
How can permanent eyeliner be applied in different styles?
Permanent eyeliner can be applied in four main styles, including lash enhancement for a soft blend and subtle definition along the lash line, winged liner that extends above the crease of the lids on the outer corners, shaded liner for a smoky, diffused line that starts from the lash line like a smudged pencil, and butterfly liner that involves shading through the lash line, onto the lid, and through the crease for a bold and dramatic look.
